Turn ordinary primer to magnetic primer. 1 Quart Mixture. Covers an area of approximately 30 to 40 square feet with two to three coats or about 20 square feet with four coats. For best result apply at least four coats of mixed primer to surface, wait for it to dry between coats or follow primer manufacture recoating time. First coat of mixed primer should be sufficient enough to completely hide underlying paint or surface and recoats should be of equal thickness. It is not advised to store unused mixed primer, dispose responsibly. Wait 24 hours before applying top coat paint to ensure magnetized surface completely dry. We recommend using one coat of an eggshell paint because it is harder and will hold up to more use than a flat paint. Simply wait until the last coat of the magnetic paint is dry before covering with your color choice of paint. Perform best with strong heavy-duty rare earth magnets with minimal weight.
